If you want to plan a can't miss date then start with a nice walk around the Science World waterfront, pay the $5 and hop on a seabus to Granville Island. Make sure you time your day so that you can have dinner at the Bridge restaurant, and be finished for the 8pm round of Theatre Sports. Live improv comedy is hilarious. Just think "Who's Line is it Anyways" minus Drew Carey. Laughter is a great way to a ladies heart.
